Hi and thanks for visiting my blog and sampling and liking.
We all want to put our best forward and write with as much correctness as possible. Sometimes native English speakers are the worst at making the errors. I think it is humble of you to tell that you are really concerned.
As I read blogs, I don’t really pay that much attention to the small things. If I like the content, I return.
I like poems I can understand. lol So often I will read a poem and there are tons of comments praising and interpreting and I am totally in the dark. Which probably says a lot about me. πŸ™‚
Enjoy your blog journey. We really never know where it leads.

    • Villanueva says:

Wow, really I’m speechless. I don’t know where to start and how to end my reply to you. I’m so glad you do understand my poem and thank you for that, thank you thank you thank you πŸ˜‰

it takes guts to write in another language (i barely know how to write in English) i couldn’t write in another language so i’m really impressed.

  29. Cubby says:

Hi Villanueva, boy do I have to say you are incredible. To be able to express yourself so well in a language that is not your native tongue is really remarkable. Grammar takes a backseat when it comes to writing poetry, but your grammar is very good as well. Just keep going at your own pace! Beautiful writing!

    • Villanueva says:

πŸ˜‰ Gratitude Cubby. Presently, I’m reading your poems and I loved it especially the riddles. It’s like a quiz to me hehehe. English, I believe, is the most difficult language to learn. You should hear my Spanish — well, no, you shouldn’t. Thanks for dropping by my blog again. As far as late bloomer? No such thing. The timing for you to write is right on schedule. Enjoy the process, and write, write, write.

    • Villanueva says:

thanks skipmars, actually we used to have a spanish subject in college before and as you know we been under the Spain ruling for 500 years πŸ™‚ and as much as I like to write or speak Spanish but I can’t It’s a lot harder compare to English. The Filipino language composed of mixed spanish and tagalog like la mesa (table), bangko (chair) bintana (window) salawal (short)

      Have a nice day.
